SPENDING FURLOUGHS TOGETHER are Pvt Tom Cuomo,left, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Cuomo of 3206 Philip St., and Seaman First Class Peter Farina, right, son of Mr. and Mrs James Farina of 129 Thompson St. Pvt. Cuomo recently completed his basic training at Fort Knox, Ky., and was a butcher before entering service Dec., 10, 1943. Seaman Farina recently returned from overseas. - He had been in Italy and Africa. He was employed by the Western Gateway Co. prior to entering service in October, 1943, and received his basic training at Sampson.
